Throughout his career, Shawn has represented clients in commercial real estate transactions totaling several billion dollars across a diverse range of asset classes, including retail shopping centers, office buildings, apartment communities, industrial properties, mixed-use properties, gas stations, self-storage facilities, and hotels.

Prior to leading Core Equity Corporation, Shawn served as in-house counsel for one of Northern California’s largest privately held commercial real estate companies, supporting its acquisitions, leasing, financing, development, asset management, and property management teams on a broad range of legal and business matters involving a portfolio exceeding $1 billion in assets. This combination of brokerage, legal, and institutional commercial real estate experience enables Shawn to anticipate issues, navigate complex transactions, and provide clients with practical, strategic guidance throughout the transaction.
